1. General Introduction:
When the decal printing was popular in the early time, it also use the decal stickers on the glass, but the effect is not obvious. In the 1970's, glass manufacturers developed the float glass process, and soon thereafter, screen printing became the most common glass decoration technique. Screen printing is a viable option for many of the applications today because it can apply relatively thick ink deposits (full surface or image) ranging from 5 to 60 microns (thicker deposits are often required for opacity/ privacy or electronic security purposes.
SI-PET 1500 provide just the right mesh specification for every screen printing application, ranging from very coarse to ultra-fine in different widths(up to 3.7meters), available in both yellow and white fabrics.
Construction Glass Printing:Dimensionally stable, high tension/low elongation mesh, like SS PET 1500,is recommended for printing construction glass.
Super Wide Mesh is the ideal fabric for stencils having a wide of more than 4m.
Decoration Glass Printing:Mesh line is typically larger than 0.15mm, yellow meshes are preferred.
